Wow, you got some nice detailed reviews already, but I want to throw my 2 bits into the ring.

This was a stunning piece by nearly all accounts. You didn't miss a trick when it came to the shading, the lighting, the details, and even the minor details! I loved the little things you did, like the cutlass being strapped onto the wrist with a special glove and so on.

I had some very slight problems, though. Nothing major, but here goes:

The tail, first and foremost. The mane looks great, flowing in the breeze, light and well detailed, but the tail just looks like a stuffed sock, just flopping down and piling up on the floor. In most cases I would not have such a big problem, but with a work as great as this, it deserves to be better.

The ear. Now I'm sure this looks great in some context or another, but to me it looked almost freakishly big and twisted. Again, in any other work it would be fine, but this was too good! In future, try toning down the size a pinch, it works wonders.

Another small problem would be the shadow, it just didn't feel pony to me. It was just sort of there, and felt disjointed. Each leg seemed to have it's own shadow, the two not connecting.

All in all, this piece blew me away, out the window and over to the next continent. Any problems I had were quashed by the overall quality of it.

9.5/10, and I'm anxious to see what you come out with in future!
